Week 30 (Feb. 16th)

So I know I'm a little behind on the posting - Sorry!! Week 30 was pretty normal, the doctor's visit was good. The high risk doctor said that he didn't need to see us again for 3-4 weeks, so that was good news. At this time, I think I put on about 25 lbs and I laid on the floor and set my belly on the scale just to see if I could weigh it. I did and it weighed about 25 lbs by itself!!! I know kind of crazy but I was curious.

Week 28 & 29

Week 28:
Opps! I guess I forgot to post last week. So here is the picture from week 28...I was really busy with school and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I took 35 students to the District competition and had 19 of them qualify for State - which I won't get to go this year because it is in April in Vail.

Week 29: We had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and I guess I pushed it a little too much last week because they want to see me weekly just to make sure that I don't start delivering them early. I was told to not do anything over our 4 day weekend (Feb 14-Feb 17) and to see the doctor again on the 17th. Hopefully, he will still allow me to work for another week. The girls are doing great - heartbeats are around 137 & 147, and they sure move a lot. Joe & I think that we have gymnasts or soccer players or one of each with all the flipping and kicking that I feel & Joe sees.

Week 27

Another week and another inch!! We just keep growing! We saw the specialist this week and everything is looking good. He measured the babies and said they weigh around 2 1/2 lbs each. Their heads are right next to each other and down low which explains why I have to pee all the time and why I feel a ton on movement above my belly button. We have one more childbirthing class. We are learning about all the options for drugs!!

Zoey's 1st Birthday

I was just giving Zoey kisses on her birthday and Joe snapped a pic so I thought I would share. She is eating adult food but still acts like a puppy. We are really anxious to see how our two furry babies respond to the twins. They like to sleep near my stomach, so we think they know something is going on.

Week 26

Things are still going well. This week when I measured my belly it had grown 1 1/2 inches but this week I have also grown everywhere else. My butt, waist, and boobs all added about 1/2 inch - I know, I know it's suppose to happen and I expected it to but it is just weird when it actually happens.
I feel them moving around A LOT, in fact they are right now (maybe they know I'm talking about them..haha!). We found out when Joe talks to them, they usually kick or move and if they are moving, if you poke them they will kick or move.

Week 25

This week has been good. My belly has grown yet another inch. The nurse said that my uterus is measuring at 32 weeks. We actually got to hear their heartbeats for the first time in months. One was at 156 and the other was around 143. They are still moving A LOT! We have even started to notice a sleep schedule with them and, so far I like it.

Week 24

This week we went back to school so getting back into a routine was hard but I made sure to get a lot of sleep. We also started our Childbirth class. So far the only bad thing is that it doesn't get over until 9pm so we don't get home until 9:45pm and that is way to late for me (and Joe). It was amazing how many people in the class are from Illinois, including our instructor. The classes are once a week for 5 weeks and they give us a tour of the hospital and get us pre-registered.
I am feeling good. So far I have gained about 15 lbs and my belly seems to be growing about an inch a week. The girls are very active!!! They move around so much Joe can watch my belly move. We are going to have our hands full for the next 18 or so years!
