January 2010

Girls are the walkers Grandma Bev gave them for Christmas. They haven't really figured them out in this picture but they like being in them.
Our first swim lesson - the water was sooooo cold but the girls seemed to enjoy being in the pool.
Yeah - I finally found them swimsuits for their swim lessons.
This was our last swim lesson in the cold pool. I switched to a different rec center and now we get to use their therapy pool so the water and room are much warmer. The girls are so much happier when their lips aren't turning blue. Josh had to go with me because Joe had a speaking gig.

Christmas in Effingham 2009

Christmas in Effingham was so fun.
The girls were opening presents with my dad and Cheryl.

My Grandma Kinkelaar really enjoyed seeing and holding the girls.

Our first dolls - thanks Aunt Connie!

December 2009

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything but life with twins (any kids) can get a little crazy.

Sari isn't too sure she likes the new rocking horse Grandpa Chuck gave her for Christmas.

We were taking pictures for our Christmas card - Adina really does like the rocking horse!

We all went to the Denver Zoo for Zoo lights. The girls loved it. They just kept looking around. They were happy to be out of the house. Josh and Jordan went too. The girls got to see an elephant, a giraffe, and snakes. I don't think they really knew what was going on but they were so quiet the entire time.

We are going to sit on Santa's lap for the 1st time - Adina didn't mind but Sari wasn't very happy!

Thanksgiving & Baptism

Everyone likes to come to our small house for Thanksgiving. My sister-in-law cooked her first turkey and it was awesome! We had 10 adults, 3 babies, and 2 dogs in our little home, but it was so fun and loud and great. I couldn't have asked for it to go any better!

Grandma and her girls!

The girls are getting Baptised with Debbie & Bob as their godparents.

Adina's turn - all she wanted to do was get in the water and play with the pitcher. It was funny to watch Debbie & Bob try to hold the girls still so they could be blessed.

Sari's turn to wrestle and grab at the pitcher.

The blessing of the mother.

The blessing of the father.

November

They were suppose to be napping but instead when I peaked in I found Sari standing for the first time in her crib (time to lower the matresses!) pushing toys down to Adina.
Josh was making sure they couldn't go any where while he did some laundry and they loved it!

So cute - both were wiped out!

So happy! Daddy wasn't home so Mommy got to dress them in matching outfits!

October

So happy in our halloween P.J. from Grandma Bev!

Playing on the floor in our halloween outfits, Skypeing with Grandma Bev.

Our first Halloween! My little leopard and my little monkey!

They have really started moving - just the army crawl thing at this point!

The girls' first snow days with mom and dad! Two snow days in October - can't wait to see what happens in March! Adina likes daddy's boots they help her stand up!

My little bears! I love these jackets and they are perfect for my gymnastics' meets - Go Bears!

So happy playing in their jumpers!

Just adorable dresses!

August

Happy 60th Birthday, Grandma Bev! We drove back to Effingham to surprise my mom for her birthday. We threw a surprise party in her house - she had no idea that we were all coming either it was sooo much fun!
Our first Fourth of July picnic!

Our first trip to Effingham to see Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Kinkelaar. Four generations!

Our first try with cereal - I think they liked it but it was messy!

They are getting soooo big - starting to roll over, cooing a ton, noticing my voice & face, laughing, and noticing each other. It is so cute!

The girls are now four months old - I can't believe how fast it went. I go back to work on Thursday (August 13th). I have been really lucky that I have been able to stay home this long so I can't really complain but I would really like to spend a little more time with them.
